Central Fife Open Studios is opening its collective doors today for the first time - but will hopefully become an annual event on the Art Calendar.

My studio will be open for the next three weekends from 10 - 4, where you can see a variety of printmaking techniques - lino/relief prints, collographs, monoprints and lithographs.

Come along and see how the prints are made by hand on my etching press, see the prints and the plates they are printed from. All prints are for sale.
 The weather is great, so come and enjoy a day by the seaside!!

Introduction to Printmaking - Collagraph printing. Final day

Here are a few of  the Collagraphs the students made last week and printed today. Once again they all worked hard and produced very good, strong images. We started the day printing them as reliefs and then moved on to intaglio printing in the afternoon. This provided the greater scope for creativity, altering the inking and adding colour. Once again they all went home with a varied body of images and the day passed in a flash.

I'd like to thank them all for their hard work over the four weeks.
